plotequilibrium

plotequilibrium script shows plasma equilibrium. Optionally it also shows PF coil positions and a toroidal-flux contour overlay. refer data dictionary.

--phi overlays contours of the toroidal magnetic flux Φ(R,Z) [Wb] read directly from equilibrium/time_slice/profiles_2d/phi:

Syntax plotequilibrium

$ plotequilibrium -h
Usage: plotequilibrium [-h] -u URI [--dd-update] [--rc RC] [--no-provenance]

                       [-md [MD ...]] [--debug] [--save]
                       [--directory DIRECTORY]

---- Display the plasma equilibrium from the equilibrium IDS. It also shows pf
coils and wall position overlay if exists [Previously known as equiplot]

Options:
  -h, --help            show this help message and exit
  -u, --uri URI         URI of the dataentry (e.g, imas:hdf5?path=./testdb or
                        ./testpulse.nc)
  --dd-update           Convert IDS to the default version of the data
                        dictionary if enabledotherwise, use the original IDS
                        stored on disk.
  --rc RC               Semicolon-separated rcParams string (e.g.,
                        'lines.linewidth=2;axes.titlesize=14')
  --no-provenance       Hide URI provenance information from plot titles
  -t, --time TIME       Time (default=middle)
  --phi                 Overlay contours of toroidal magnetic flux Φ(R,Z) [Wb]
                        from equilibrium profiles_2d/phi
  --no-overlay          Hide equilibrium overlays
  --profiles            Plot available 1D profiles and time traces alongside
                        the equilibrium
  -md, --md [MD ...]    Provide machine descriptions that you need to plot
                        with ids names for example wall pf_active or with uris
                        for example
